Welcome to Camp Tanako
Camp Tanako, located near Hot Springs on beautiful Lake Catherine, has been a ministry of the United Methodist Church in Arkansas since 1948. We welcome children, youth, and adults to a place set apart where they can grow in their faith by experiencing God through nature, build lifelong friendships, and respond to the call of the Holy Spirit. Whether you come as a guest on a retreat or for a session of summer camp, this is a place where you can release your burdens and find rest.

Every summer, families ask us to make camp possible for a child who couldn't otherwise come. Your gift to camperships closes the gap, so no qualified camper is turned away because of money. $700 sends one child to a week of overnight camp; gifts of any size add to the fund.
