Summer 2026 Camp Schedule

Elementary Camp

Rising 3rd – 6th graders · Jun 21–26 · Jul 19–24 · $700 · Sun–Fri overnight Five days where trying new things is the point. We practice challenge by choice — campers pick their level of involvement in each activity. Color wars, archery, kayaking, capture the flag, fishing, swimming, hiking, gaga, and the rest of what fills a week.

Junior High Camp

Rising 7th – 9th graders · Jun 7–12 · Jul 12–17 · $700 · Sun–Fri overnight Five days for the in-between years — when faith starts to become your own. Challenge by choice activities and an optional Outpost night in the hammock village, with meals cooked over the campfire.

Senior High Camp

Rising 9th – 12th graders · Jul 5–10 · $700 · Sun–Fri overnight For high schoolers ready to spend a week with old friends and to make new ones. Rev. Dr. Hammett Evans leads the week as dean, working through a pop-culture-themed small-group and worship arc.

Mini Camp

Rising 1st – 4th graders · Jun 28–30 · $280 · Three days, two nights A first overnight experience for younger campers. Three days of worship, small-group time, archery, arts and crafts, nature hikes, gaga ball, and the start of friendships in cabin family groups.

Fishing Camp

Rising 2nd – 6th graders · Jun 12–14 · $280 · Three days, two nights Three days focused on the fishing Lake Catherine is known for. We cover safety, knot-tying, casting, and catch-and-release — and we talk about being fishers of men along the way. Bring your own rod and reel with new line; hooks, floats, tackle, and bait are provided.

Leadership-in-Training

Older students · Jul 21–26 (overnight) · day camp option also available · $700
A week where older campers serve alongside staff — helping with kids younger than themselves and learning counseling, kitchen, and other responsibilities. LIT graduates often return as counselors in future Tanako summers.
